Aalborg Opera Award 2012

The next recipient of the Aalborg Opera Award is soprano Vibeke Kristensen. She graduated from Det Norske Musikakademi and Det Kongelige Danske Operakademi. She made her debut in 2004 at the Royal Danish Theatre as Amor in Gluck’s Orpheus and Eurydice, and she has since then been part of several opera shows at the theatre. Vibeke has also been employed by Den Jyske Opera where she played parts in, amongst others, Die Zauberflöte and the Le nozze di Figaro. This year you can see her perform as Snow-white and Zerlina in Don Juan. The award show will take place the 11th of April 2013 at the Aalborg Opera Festival where Vibeke Kristensen will perform with Aalborg Symphony Orchestra. The award is donated by Det Obelske Familifond.
